image title:

Shasta Bally in the Snow

field notes:

afternoon to late afternoon. Cold, wet, windy; from cloudy damp with rare sun, to cold rain on me and snow on the mountain. Osprey and ravens were quiet, but present; had to hold the board over my head, image down, to protect it from rain as I painted.
